CoolHandKels

To start, the nickname "CoolHandKels" was given to me by one of my best friends back in high school, when I was the fastest cashier working at the local  IGA. Almost two decades later and here I am trying to build a brand off it. (I mean, it is apropros)

For as long as I can remember, I've been a nail biter. Over the years I've tried everything to stop, up to and including the bad tasting nail polish (you get used to it!) I had accepted my bad habit, and the fact I was going to go through life with sore, bloody nubs for fingertips (cute). 

When I got older and discovered acrylics, it felt like all my dreams came true! Finally I had the long, gorgeous nails I had always wanted, and my obsession was born. For the next several years I was at the salon every 2-3 weeks like clockwork, making sure I ALWAYS had my nails done.

COVID hit, we all know how that went, and I started doing my own nails. I mainly focused on designing press-on nails, but in the back of my mind I always knew I wanted to be a nail technician, on top of being a nail artist.

Fall 2024 I graduated with my Advanced Nail Technician certificate, and the career I've always dreamed of is finally starting to form. If quality tools and procedures, bomb nail art, and chill vibes are important to you, let's hold hands!
