Press On Nail FAQ

All orders are placed by emailing coolhandkels@gmail.com. 

1. Start by prepping your natural nails (remove polish, file and buff nails, push back cuticles, then wipe with alcohol wipe.)
2. Apply small bead of nail glue, being careful not to flood nailbed.
3. Apply press on at a 45 degree angle and press down gently for 7-10 seconds.

1. Mix warm water, dish soap, and a non drying oil (almond, olive, mineral)
2. Soak fingers until nails can easily be popped off.
3. Buff remaining glue off nails, clean with alcohol wipe, and apply cuticle oil and hand lotion.

The most accurate way to find your best nail size/shape/length is to order a sizing kit! Not only will it ensure a perfect fit, all shapes and lengths look different on different nail beds, and I want your set to look the best on YOU!

All orders come with 10 custom press on gel nails, an application kit and card, and a business card. Application kits include alcohol wipes, glue tabs, a nail file, a nail buffer, 2 cuticle pushers (wooden and plastic), nail glue, a small barrel file, and with first time orders - a nail brush.

At this time I only use soft gel full cover nail tips by Apres Nail. Keep in mind since these are gel nails, they will dissolve in nail polish remover or acetone. 

When prepped properly, you can get up to two weeks of wear from your set. Make sure you are keeping your hands hydrated and not using your nails as tools!

In order to get the most use from your press ons, you MUST soak off your nails. Once nails are removed and dried, use the small barrel file included in your kit to file remaining nail glue off the press on nails. Store in a safe place until ready to use again!
